Sillicon Bronze Nails
Silicon Bronze nails are made from a copper alloy, which is very corrosion resistant and can be used in salt water environments.
Manufactured in NZ, RK Timbers’ plug nails have a unique collar to assist closure of the nail penetration, improving weathertightness.
They are available with a pentagon shaped, decorative head.

Stainless Steel Nails
Our stainless steel finish also provides superior corrosion resistance. This is achieved due to the “passivity” inherent in the nails. When exposed to oxygen it immediately acquires a protective invisible film.
RK Timbers only use 316 Grade Stainless Steel for its superior resistance to corrosion when compared with 304 Grade.
All nails are available in lengths of 50, 60, 75, 85 or 100mm, supplied in 5kg boxes.

Cladding Screw Fixings
RK Timbers also supply stainless steel screws for cladding.Screws are increasing in popularity for this use, due to improved installation control and speed.
Cladding screws are available in 60, 70 & 80mm x 12g ASSY type screws.
